Autumn Meadows Tri-Shutter Card

Here's a Tri-Shutter Card that was made at one of my Advanced Workshops last fall:

This card features the now retired Autumn Meadows DSP and coordinating card stock.  The focal point on the front of the card was created using the Holiday Best (Level 1 Hostess stamp set), Leaves #2 Originals Die and the Scallop Circle #2 Bigz Die.

Autumn Meadows Thanks

Here's a project that I came up with last fall for my "Secret Stamping Sister:"

This project uses the now retired, SU Autumn Meadows Designer Series Paper, Chocolate Chip card stock and a series of dies and other embellishments. The sign base was created with On Board chipboard using a Sizzix "Album Cover & Pages" die.  The die is normally used as a mini scrapbook, but I thought it would be fun to make a sign out of it.  The letters were cut from Alphabet Simple Letters Stampin' Up! Bigz Die and the leaves from the Little Leaves Stampin' Up! Sizzlits Die.  I used SU's My Digital Studio software to create the words "Thoughtful, Heartfelt, Appreciative, Nurturing, Kind and Sincere" in a script font and punched them out with the Modern Label punch.  I punched a few extra holes using my Crop-a-dile and then tied it all together with 1/4" Choc Chip Grosgrain ribbon.

Here are a few close up shots:

Punched Flower Pot

Here's another card that we are making at my workshop tomorrow using the Happy Moments stamp set from the Sale-a-bration catalog:

The majority of this card was created from the Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper Stack and includes colors Pretty In Pink, Rose Red, Old Olive and Chocolate Chip.

The flower pot was created using 2 punches - the Wide Oval Punch and the Ornament Punch.  The trick is to use your Wide Oval Punch first and then feed the oval into the Ornament Punch and punch again to get the top of the flower pot.  I trimmed off the bottom of the pot with scissors to make it flat.

Other accessories include:  Tiny Tags stamp set, Jewelry Tag Punch, Pretty In Pink Satin Ribbon, and Linen Thread.

Easter Chick

Here's the Easter card that we are making at my workshop tomorrow using the stamp set "A Good Egg."

The little chick inspired this color combo of So Saffron and Pumpkin Pie.  Accessories include:  Elegant Bouquet Stampin' Up! Textured Impressions Die, Oval Scallop Frame Bigz Die, Pumpkin Pie 1/2 Inch Striped Grosgrain Ribbon and the Uni-Ball Signo White Gel Pen.  There is also a tiny bit of the new Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper used for the egg shell.

Enjoy,
Maria
